



The Suzuki GSX-R1000 was built to make power at high RPM. Our Velocity Stacks were developed to take full advantage of that capability.
The factory intake system is designed around a compromise between performance, street drivability, emissions, and broad-range operation. As RPM increases, however, airflow demand becomes critical, and the OEM velocity stack configuration can become a restriction to the engine's ultimate horsepower potential.
Carita Motorsports Velocity Stacks are engineered to improve airflow into the throttle bodies and optimize high-RPM cylinder filling, allowing the GSX-R1000 to continue making power where the stock configuration begins to fall off.
In our testing, the Carita Motorsports Velocity Stacks have delivered gains of up to 20 HP over the stock velocity stack configuration.
This is not simply a change in intake appearance or a cosmetic modification. The stack dimensions are engineered to alter the intake characteristics of the GSX-R1000 and improve the engine's ability to ingest air at high RPM.
The result is a significantly stronger top-end power curve and substantially more horsepower available in the upper RPM range.

Velocity stack length and geometry have a direct effect on airflow behavior, intake tuning, and where the engine produces its power.

At high engine speeds, the engine requires an enormous volume of air. The Carita Motorsports design helps improve the transition of airflow into the throttle bodies and supports more efficient cylinder filling as RPM climbs.
This allows the GSX-R1000 to carry horsepower farther into the RPM range instead of losing power as quickly toward the top of the tachometer.
