The BMW S1000RR is one of the most advanced superbikes on the market, but from the factory its ECU is heavily restricted by emissions and safety protocols. Our Stage 2 ECU Flash with Handheld Tuner unlocks the bike’s true performance, refining every aspect of the engine management system. This package was developed through extensive dyno testing, datalogging, and real-world validation to ensure maximum power, drivability, and reliability.

Technical Features & Adjustments

1. Throttle & Torque Limiters Removed

• Factory ECU limits throttle opening by gear and RPM. Stage 2 removes these restrictions, giving you 100% throttle in all gears.

• Torque limiters in 1st–3rd gear are eliminated, providing full power delivery without artificial suppression.

• Top end torque limiter of 75% raise to 100% free top end horsepower

2. Fueling Optimization

 • Revised fuel maps for a target AFR of 13.1 under load, ensuring ideal combustion and maximum power output.

Cold Start Fixed. Now the bike will not start cold-Rev that could damage the engine


• Closed-loop corrections adjusted for smoother transitions between part-throttle and wide-open throttle. Perfect Fuel Adjustment Full Time

• Self Autotune for Pump Gas 89, 90, 91, 93, 95, 100 Or Vp Mr12

You can mix or use different octane and our flash in conjunction with the ecu will make the necessary adjustments (Only Carita)

3. Ignition Timing Adjustments


• Optimized ignition advance across the rev range for increased torque and horsepower while maintaining safe knock margins.

6. Exhaust Valve, Intake Flap & Emissions Controls

• Exhaust valve behavior reprogrammed for consistent flow and reduced heat buildup.

• Removal of unnecessary emissions-based restrictions that hinder performance.

• Exhaust and Intake Flap Open 100% In All Gears

Exup, Evap and Pair valves DTC off. If you remove these valves it will not turn on any DTC code but if you leave them on, they will continue to function with the modifications included with stage 2

 

7. Fan & Temperature Management


• Revised cooling fan activation temperatures for better heat management in street and track conditions.

• Fan On From 215F To 186F.


       Measured Results (Typical Gains on Pump Gas)

    • +10–15 whp increase in the midrange (6,000–10,000 rpm).
    • +6–8 whp increase at peak power.
    • Noticeably stronger torque delivery in lower gears.
    • Sharper throttle response and improved acceleration times.
